Two Gorgeous Aluminia Flower plates. The one to the left has decoration number 429/340 and is from 1905. Diameter 19 cm. It has some crackle in the glaze. Diameter 19 cm. The one to the right has decoration number 452/340 and is from 1905. Diameter 19.5 cm. Perfect condition. In the 1880s when production at the Royal Copenhagen factory was dropping to a dangerously low level they were taken over by Aluminia (founded 1863), successful makers of earthenware, and since that time the two ranges, earthenware and porcelain, have been running in tandem.
